We assess students in terms of academic strengths and weaknesses, abilities in each of the SAT's testing areas, preferred learning style, and personality to create learning plans that maximize student potential. These customized plans are then implemented by highly credentialed and experienced SAT tutors who are singularly dedicated to student accomplishment. Manhattan Review has been successfully serving the international student population since 1999, and no other company can approach our record of success with this unique type of student.
The SAT has recently undergone a number of substantive changes. The 2016 test features a much more complex scoring system, which can be seen as the College Board's answer to college admissions officers who criticized the old SAT for providing too little information about student potential. In addition to a 1600-point scoring range that replaces the former 2400-point scale, the new SAT provides targeted assessment within and across the individual tests and sections. The College Board has updated the SAT's evaluation of verbal and mathematical skills in an attempt to create a test that is more relevant to the actual coursework of college students. The essay section has become optional and is scored separately. These changes to the SAT have a significant effect on student preparation. Zurich students can be confident in Manhattan Review's one-on-one SAT tutoring and prep classes, which offer the most informed and current instruction available for the 2016 SAT.
