Munich students applying to selective universities in the United States must be aware of typical ACT scores at their chosen institutions. At Harvard University, for example, approximately 90% of successful applicants who took the ACT received composite scores of 30-36, with almost 91% achieving ACT English scores of 30 or above and about 84% with ACT math scores of 30 or better. Harvard accepted very few students in the 24-29 composite score range, many of whom were probably legacy admissions (children of alumni) or from families with histories of large donations. Harvard did not accept any students with ACT composite scores below 24. The reported ACT averages for Harvard students were 33.5 (composite), 33 (math), and 34 (English). For realistic chances of acceptance, prospective students must produce ACT scores that align with the ACT performance of previously admitted students. Manhattan Review's ACT prep services in Munich feature the highest-quality ACT teaching available, and a large percentage of our students reach their ACT score goals.
